Welcome to Van Voorhis Elementary School!

I am honored to serve as the principal of this outstanding school community and excited to partner with our families as we support every student's success. Whether you are new to Fort Knox or a returning member of our school family, we are grateful that you are part of the Van Voorhis community.

At Van Voorhis, we believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and meaningful partnerships help students thrive. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to do their best.

As a military child, spouse of a retired Soldier, and mother of five, I understand the importance of a school community that supports military-connected families. Open communication and collaboration between school and home are essential, and I encourage families to stay involved, ask questions, and partner with us throughout the year.

Together, we will continue building a culture of kindness, respect, responsibility, and academic excellence while creating meaningful opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed.
